About Dmarie

About Me

Hello I'm Danita at Dmarie's,  Breeder of AKC, Maltese & Toy Poodles, my favorite little dogs, that I have cared for & loved over the past 20+ years.  I breed, show and have hosted many events and doggie playgroups.  I'm located in Washington State, about 15 min North of Seattle.    

I breed AKC Maltese & Toy Poodles Purebreds Only. 

I strive to maintain the breed standard of quality, health and temperament for each of my breeds. DNA's, health screening & testing is done as needed for the breed.  I'm an active member of my toy breed clubs, who provide education and host events on quality and health awareness for my breeds.  

Maltese & Toy Poodles are Great Companions

I specialize in small companion doggies, but I only breed a few litters each year.  My breeds are hypoallergenic and usually under 10 lbs when full grown.  They are walkable size but also easy to carry.  They do well in apartments, condos or smaller homes, as they do not require a large yard to play and get exercise.  They are a great travel size and make wonderful little snuggle bugs & fur babies.

I grew up with Poodles and have fawn memories of cuddling and playing with my Grandmothers' Toy Poodle Tina.  

This loyal loving breed has 3 varieties, Standard, Miniature and Toy.  I have toy size only.  I specialize in Silvers, Apricot/Reds, but often have Creams or Blues.  I rarely have true Black or White.

 I was looking for a small doggie companion and came across a little maltese.  I named her Jasmine, my love for this breed started with her back in early 2000's.  


This sweet loving breed are  

all white, long hair but can be kept short

My placement process starts with the initial inquiry and completion of a Dmarie's Puppy Buyers Application. Followed by a phone chat sharing additional info and answering questions we both may have.  I will send additional pics of the pup(s) or doggie you may want to consider. 

The next step is usually setting up a visit to meet with the pup or doggie you are considering.  At this point a couple of options may happen. (1) you can place a deposit to hold this pup or doggie till they are ready for pick up, (2) If puppy or Adult is ready for their new home, you can pay in full and take them home that day.

There are a few other scenarios that may apply but this is the basic format for adoption/placement.  

We will be communicating by phone, text and email, so I will clearly layout your options based on the situation, the puppy or doggie you are interested in.  

*I reserve the right to refuse a deposit or sale if I do not feel its the right fit for my puppies or adults.    

My puppy prices start at $3000, puppies are sold for pet companionship. I give AKC limited registration. Pups will have current vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, vet health check, and health guarantee and with a non breeding spay/neuter agreement.  

My Adult Doggie placements are usually less than a pup, but will vary depending on age, breed or other factors.  

I have an adoption/placement agreement that will sent out for you to review before we set up a visit. 

I DO NOT SHIP!!!  For the safety and reduced stress of my pup and myself I do not ship.  

It is important to me, to meet you, and for you to meet me and your future pup/doggie before finalizing your decision.  

Sorry I DO NOT DELIVER OR DO ANY ROADSIDE MEETUPS to show my pups.  Families interested in my pups, have to be willing to travel for to meet their potential pup. 

Pet Nanny.... Again it's important to me to meet you and for you to meet your pup before making a decision to purchase. So a pet nanny may work in a few select occasions, but if we have never met, I'm not likely to agree to this option either, Sorry.
